Hey guys, the new school year starts in a few days and I hope everyone has had a great summer full of trashy reality TV and bad tan lines.
Many things have happened over the summer in the realm of human rights such as Bashir getting indicted for war crimes (finally) and the creation of the U.N. Commission of Inquiry in Burma - two things for which we have been tabling and calling in our representatives!
In other news, if you’re a general body member or a new student who wants to get even more involved in the White Rose Society, there are still positions open such as Historian, Secretary, and National Advocacy Coordinator.
I’ll keep you updated about when the next meeting will be and the happenings. Relish your last moments of freedom!
